Hexvessel are a Finnish band from Tampere, formed in 2009 by Mathew McNerney. The current lineup also includes Kimmo Helén on keys, piano, viola, violin, trumpet, and backing vocals, Jukka Rämänen on drums, percussion, and bass guitar, and Ville Hakonen on bass. Their music is usually described as psychedelic forest folk rock, with links to wyrd folk and darker metal scenes.
