Hiidensointi formed in Tampere in 2008 and played progressive folk rock with art rock and prog-rock traits. The band released its first album independently and built a lineup that included vocals, guitar, drums, bass, and violin. Their catalog included the 2013 album Ovia Ja Aikoja.
